Press releasses

22.05.2007 On May 22, 2007 the International conference “Animal husbandry and poultry farming: modern trends and Russian market” continued its work within the framework of the International exhibition “Meat & Poultry Industry / VIV Russia 2007” and “Refrigeration Te
The population growth aggravates the problems associated with supply of foodstuffs (especially in developing countries). The poultry industry can relatively quickly ensure the provision of the population with the most deficient foodstuffs, i.e. products containing animal proteins. Besides it at present the population of civilized countries tends to reduce the content of unsaturated fatty acids and cholesterol in the diet. Therefore the annual production  of poultry meat continues to increase in volume.

21.05.2007 The international Exhibition “Meat & Poultry Industry / VIV Russia 2007” and “Refrigeration Technology & Frozen Foods Show” was opened on May 21, 2007 at the “Crocus Expo” exhibition center.
Mr. Jimmy Essing, President of the exhibition company VNU Exhibition Europe, addressed the participants and visitors of the exhibition and said that he was happy to open an exhibition in Russia  (Moscow) for the third time. Three years ago nobody expected that this project would develop in an exhibition of such a large scale. This year more than 350 companies from 26 countries participated in the exhibition. It is 4 times relevant figure for the last exhibition in Moscow in 2005 and this provides evidence of the fact that the animal husbandry continues to rapidly develop in Russia. Over 4500 square meters  of the exhibition spaces were occupied by foreign companies, and the remaining 4000 sq. m  - by Russian companies.

25.05.2002 On May 25, 2004 the III International forum “Meat Industry. Chicken King. Frozen Foods. Technique. Technologies/VIV Russia 2004” was open in exhibition complex “Crocus Expo”
For the first time during VIV Russia 2004 exhibition the new concept “From Feed to Meet” was realized. It means that all the aspects from the equipment for food-manufacturing industry, feed for animals, veterinary products and stockbreeding to the equipment for farming, slaughter, meat and egg manufacturing, ingredients and final meat products were presented here. The tremendous interest in the topic chosen for the forum is confirmed by the presence of multiple internal and foreign exhibitors.
